Scripture/Text: Daniel 2:24-49; Our elections are happening in a month. Anxieties abound about the outcome. What would it take for the church, and our church Agape Chicago, to reject the preponderance of pressure due to the political cycles? On Sunday, we will consider a revelation from God to a great king, Nebuchadnezzar. In this vision, God shows this ruler the fragility of his seemingly great Kingdom. In so doing, God gives us the tools we need to focus our attention on a Kingdom that lasts forever. On Sunday, consider with us what this means for the next month of our lives and beyond.
