Scripture/Text: Daniel 4; Churches like ours consistently say, "God is sovereign." This is true. Beyond finding comfort in the fact God has the whole world in his hands, this Sunday I consider the ways in which God exercises sovereignty. Nebuchadnezzar, a great King, and the main character of this week's narrative serves as a contrast to God Most High. With consideration of God's treatment of this little sovereign, we learn surprising ways God exercises His sovereignty, revealing yet again God's ways are radically different from ours.
