Scripture/Text: Luke 14:12-24; If we are inviting Chicago to feast on the love of Jesus, are we inviting all of Chicago? Jesus prompts us to consider if we might be tempted to invite only those who we can benefit from and challenges us to invite those who cannot pay us back! Then, he also challenges us to seek anyone for His Kingdom that will come, even if some reject our Lord's generosity. Join us this Sunday for a challenge to grow in our willingness to invite those neighbors who face rejection, while being willing to be rejected in the process. This challenge is important in this moment of transition, not to mention opportunity, for Agape.
