Agapé Communities

Agapé Communities

As a church, we are committed to growing in our love for Jesus, our church, and Chicago. Agapé Communities are the primary venue in which we seek to intentionally cultivate these three loves. This is why we encourage everyone to get involved in one of these groups. Currently, we have four communities:

Gavin and Hannah Ferris are hosting this group in their home. The purpose of this Agapé Community group 'Works in Progress' (formerly known as Planted) is to reach people who create visual and fine arts and people who admire and consume them. Works in Progress is open to any age group, as long as you are passionate in reaching people for Christ through the arts. If you are interested in being a part of it, contact Gavin Ferris.

Blue Sky

It seeks to bring the good news of Jesus to the streets of Rogers Park. Contact Steve Johnson for participation.

No Returns

The No Returns Agapé Community focuses on serving refugees and immigrants. Members of this community gather in homes each week to share a meal and to encourage one another to love God and love their neighbor. We currently have groups that meet on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. To find out more about our groups, contact Scott Arnold. The meeting dates will be on our calendar.

Living Well

Living Well is an Agape Community focused on loving, serving, and learning from the residents of the Waterford Nursing Home. We meet weekly with the residents at the Waterford each Sunday at 3:00 p.m.  And we meet the first Sunday of each month for a meal and for group prayer. Chris Villegas.

If you are not sure what group you are interested, feel free to contact Ralph Magundayao, the Administrative Assistant, for more information.
